The fight ended when the Referee jumped in to stop the brutal beating Monson was taking at the end of the third (of five championship rounds) announcing Rizzo by Knock Out. Rizzo improves his record to 16-7, while Monson, who has only lost by TKO one other time in his career back in 2002, falls to 23-7.
